Prof. emeritus Dr. Oldrich Fejfar, graduated 1954 at the Charles University in Geology, Zoology and Paleontoloogy; served 1954-1989 at the Geological Survey of Czechoslovakia; in 1969-1972 at the Unuiversity of Munich, Institut for Paleontology and historical Geology as Alexander-von-Humboldt Stipediate;  in 1976 at the Carneghie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh. Since 1990 at the Charles University, Faculty of Natural Sciences as Professor of Paleontology; in 1996: corresponding Member of the Senckenberg Society in Frankfurt M.; since 1996 in retirement; in 2009: Honorary Member of the SVP.
