Alisa Winkler is an
Research Professor II of Geological
Sciences at Southern Methodist University and an Assistant Professor of Cell
Biology (Anatomy) at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
She received her Ph.D. in Geology from Southern Methodist University. Her major
research interests are in the systematics, paleobiogeography, paleoecology, and
functional morphology of small mammals, primarily rodents and lagomorphs. Her
current research focuses on Miocene and early Pliocene small mammals from East
Africa. |
