James G. Honey studied geosciences at the Universities of Arizona and Colorado, and worked as a geologist for the U. S. Geological Survey.  Recently he has collaborated with Robert Martin (Murray State University) on the Meade Basin project, and is currently employed as the principal investigator on the late Malcolm McKenna's (American Museum of Natural History) eastern Greater Green River Basin project.
