Mike Polcyn is Sr. Vice-President of Research and Development for InterVoice Inc., a Dallas based telecommunications company and a graduate student at Southern Methodist University. His current studies are focused primarily on the early evolution of Mosasauroidea and related forms and more broadly on adaptations of tetrapods to aquatic environments. Current research also includes the application of technology to problems in paleontology, including CT and laser scanning, finite element analysis, biomechanical modeling, and associated visualization techniques.
